Got a little valuable shooting practice last night.
C's 240. He just painted a set of turbo wheels black and put them on recently, looks great.
K's '79 Toyota. He bought it with a blown head gasket but it's alive and well now. Really fun to ride in older cars.
Aaaaand some fun ones:

Nice. Try a slower shutter speed (Tripod required) let the camera gather more light. The subject (car) will be brighter and the background (trees and night sky) will come to life!

Sure. I was using a tripod and a 30" exposure and using a flashlight to light the cars. I want to buy a remote for my camera and probably bring a brighter light

Right on. I would think they would be brighter at 30". I actually like them tho, they have a mysterious aura as is. Keep experimenting.. its part science, part art.

Great pictures. The 79 Toyota is just too cool.

It really is. I'm in the process of trying to get him to let me drive it haha. I want to experience manual steering and carburetors dammit!!

My very first car was in fact a 1979 Toyota just like that but it was white with brown interior. Many moons ago. You'll never forget your first.

Why would your friend deprive you of such awesomeness?

He hasn't said no yet, I just mentioned the other day I'd like to drive it. To keep things in perspective, yesterday was my first time seeing the truck run. I'll have my time soon, he's a nice guy

Oh I see. Has it been featured on opposite lock before? If not, are you going to do an oppo review? Brown, RWD, I assume manual. Jalops would love it.

Haha, I don't believe it has. You know, I may just take up your challenge. I have yet to write an Oppo review

If I see the review for it I'm definitely checking it out.
